ETP Updates, July 2025
It’s no secret that AI skills are the tools of the future. But as technology advances faster and faster, we at ETP believe that integrating ethics into the product lifecycle is more important than ever.
And it’s clear that tech workers agree with us: applications for our inaugural Ethical Tech Project Fellowship exceeded capacity by 1,000%!
It’s that demand for our work that inspired us to launch our new corporate training initiative, so we can continue to empower and scale our community of ethical tech and AI builders and leaders.
For our corporate trainings, we’ve adapted our acclaimed Fellowship curriculum, which was developed in partnership with the Digital Futures Institute at Columbia University. The modules cover the most important topics in responsible AI and tech: from what ‘Ethical Tech’ is and why we should care, to privacy engineering, policy and regulations, and models of ‘Doing Good’. We also tailor our curriculum to match each organization’s needs and interests, so stakeholders can focus on what’s most important to them.
Here’s a few examples of what we offer:
Ethical Tech 101 for generalists, non-tech leaders, or tech employees in a ‘Lunch & Learn’
A half-day introductory workshop designed for tech builders and their key stakeholders that covers the basics of ethical tech, plus deep-dives on 1-2 additional topics
Our full curriculum distilled into two days, covering all ethical tech topics through lectures, individual activities, and group work
If you want to learn more about how we can serve your organization, we’d love to connect. You can reach us at contact@ethicaltechproject.org.
And stay tuned to this newsletter and our LinkedIn page to find out when we’ll begin accepting applications for our next ETP Fellowship!
Happy Summer,
Jennie & Nancy
